I missed the beginning, and most of dove season because of travel. I returned home and headed to Woodland’s for the last day of the season. Mendel and Alex met us before sunrise and set us up in a field near the club house. Shoot time came quickly after we set up, and so did the doves. We had a GREAT shoot! We were limited before 8AM. Alex worked one of the club’s retrieving dogs for us. All in all it was a great morning.

Took my son out for a summer dove/pigeon hunt. His first hunt and my first in a very long time. What a blast. The action was non stop and the dogs were awesome. Mendel worked with my son and helped both of us improve our accuracy. Thanks Mendel!!

AMAZING HUNT!!! Can’t say enough amazing things about Mendel and his amazing dogs! So full of energy constantly helping out whenever he can. This was my first hunt and definitely won’t be my last! Such an amazing experience!

Myself and a friend hunted pheasant at Woodland’s last week. The experience was excellent. Mendal is a tremendous host. The birds were a plenty and the action was fast. Mendal’s dogs were fantastic and put us on lots of birds.
We are coming back for sure. Thanks Mendal.

What a hunt. As soon as we pulled up to our field a chukar popped up and John bagged it. We ended up with 12 pheasants and the chukar. We’ve been hunting with Mendel for years and will continue to do so.

Me and my wife came out and did the ultimate turkey and pheasant hunt. Mendel and his guides put us on the birds! We each got a turkey and 5 total pheasants. He even gave us a discount because we were military. 

This place is fantastic! Just like wild bird hunting! Explosive flushes, great dog work, five stars! We will be returning year after year and have been going for many years already! Thanks again for another great time, Jerry

Thanks for hosting the Special Liberty Project on our first Veteran Hunt since 2021. The Special liberty Project Veteran Pheasant Hunt was an absolute success. The 6 Veterans that hunted had an absolute blast, learned new lifelong skills, and experienced true healing. 

Amazing awesome time! My first hunt and it blew me away! Mendel’s dogs are so cute and adorable. They were so happy to hunt! What a pure joy! What a blast! Perfect for Christmas dinner for the holidays!
